The Silviculture and Forest Management Division is having nursery facilities for raising the seedlings required for research projects and for sale to public. Quality planting materials are produced and supplied including windbreak clones of ICFRE- IFGTB.

A model nursery complex with an annual production capacity of 5 lakh planting stock, with a complete array of modern vegetative propagation structures viz., Green House, Shade House, Mist Chamber as well as low cost poly tunnels is established. The model nursery is having the captive clone banks of Casuarina junghuhniana wind break clone and Azadirachta indica.

The seedlings of species with more public demands like Teak, Casuarinas, Wind break clones, Bamboo and Mahogany etc is being produced and kept for sale. The seedlings available for sale are updated on 1^st of every month which can be seen in scrolling link at the institute website. Booking for production and supply of seedlings of any specific tree species is also undertaken on payment of advance basis.
